As all past attendees understand, the IWDC maintains the finest overall collection of post high school armed exhibition drillers ever assembled in a single location each and every year. Put together and funded each year by drill enthusiast and former nationally-ranked driller Mr. Abdul Al-Romaizan, the ISIS Championships welcome all those who feel they are ready for the challenge ISIS presents. While the preparation any serious driller undertakes to attend is gruelling, the ISIS competition is always far more than just a single judged routine.

Hosted in conjunction with the thousands of cadets, instructors and family members who attend the famous three day, all-service National High School Drill Team Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida, the ISIS competition has become an entire weekend of total drill emersion. Fans of military exhibition drill return to the shores of Daytona Beach to be a part of this weekend every year even long after their drill days are behind them. It is a weekend of fellowship, of comaradarie, a time to discuss, learn and share ideas and of course, to compete. But despite the high stakes and huge egos and talents that fill the arena, the ISIS event maintains a level of positive energy and a warming spirit that elevates the entire world of competition drill simply by watching.

Competition spaces are limited for the ISIS Championships so those who are looking to attend should make their travel plans, compete the registration form and submit it with the required registration entry fee* to hold your competition space. Those looking for information may find it at the drill spectators website. Under no circumstances can any drillers be accepted on site - drill registrations generally are finalized when 40 drillers are reached in the Solo Catagory or in mid-April, whichever occurs first.
